Authentic Polka Music by Day; German Bier Hall by Night
October 1, 2016 - Corner of 6th and Oregon.

Guten Tag!! The Seventh Annual Oshkosh Oktoberfest is inside a giant authentic Bier Hall, located at the corner of 6th & Oregon on Saturday, October 1st. Come and enjoy great German music, German dancers, German food, and German Culture.

Tapping of the Keg

To kickoff the Seventh Annual Oshkosh Oktoberfest, we have a Tapping of the Oktoberfest Bier Keg ceremony. Join us at 2:00 p.m. as Oshkosh Mayor Steve Cummings taps our ceremonial keg.

Oktoberfest 2K Bier Run and Costume Contest (No Minors Allowed)

Oshkosh Oktoberfest 2K will be a beer walk/run from Oregon Street bridge to Main Street bridge utilizing the new Riverwalk two laps around, for a total of 2 kilometers or 1.25 miles. We encourage everyone to dress in costume (preferably German, but definitely tasteful). Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, in both individual and group categories. Participants will make the loop with six beer stops. All participants MUST be over 21 and have proper identification showing proof of age. Each person will receive six free beers and our Oktoberfest shirt (while supplies last - so register early!). Entrance fee is only $20 dollars in advance or $25 day of the run. The Oktoberfest 2K Bier Run starts at 11:00 a.m. (Registration at 10:00 a.m.) Saturday, October 1st. Register in advance online or at Dockside Tavern, or at Run Away Shoes.
